Did you just turned 16 last week ? Are you ready to roll the streets in your dad's brand new Jaguar? Well kid, let's take it slow, first of all, ¡you need to learn how to drive a car! Yes, we know you had totally forgotten that little detail. Don't worry, well teach you how to drive a car in a few easy steps. Just don't forget, practice makes perfect. We'll give you the basics of driving, which you'll have to practice at home, in your own car. Good Luck
First of all, you have to be prepared for the experience of your life. Check that the car your gonna use has a valid insurance, just in case thing go a little wrong. Also, check if the car is in good a state, as a malfunctioning car will only make you learn things wrong. After you check the car is working, you should check if you're carring the tools necessary in case the car malfunctions. With all that checked, you're ready to practice.
To get a drive's licence, your gonna need to take a driver's test. Don't attempt to drive without one, you could get in serious trouble if you do. To take the test you're gonna need to know the basics of driving. The best option, of course, would be to get a professional teacher to give you personal lessons. However, if this is not possible, enlist the aid of someone close to you who is a careful driver and has been driving for a while. It can be a friend, your parents, or a cousin, it doesn't matter, as long as it teaches you the proper way to drive.
When practicing, remember to be alert. Check the rear view and side mirrors; make sure you can see all traffic and pedestrians behind you and in front of you. Make it a habit to know that you have mirrors and use them every few seconds while driving. Watch out for bigger vehicles like trucks, buses, semis, and SUVs that charge the road. Sometimes people with big cars drive like bullies, and you need to understand that if your car comes head to head with them, your car will lose.
Remember that driving isn't a right, but a privilege. Don't be dumb, and take driving classes seriously. This is by no means a replacement to going to drivers class. This article can only guide you on your way to driving, so don't depend on it as your only source. Thank you for you time, and again, good luck!
